Thanks for stopping by,
Unfortunately, I don't have time to update this blog. So it is now defunct :(
Until we next meet,

Shock, horror! Time is closing in and this horrendous exam is less than two weeks away! Before Christmas, it seemed so distant I didn't lose any sleep. Now it's creeping up on me and I need to desperately cram in some revision :(
Grr, I hate exams! All the revising, sweating over it, getting into a state where you need to be sectioned...and then they make you wait ages for the results! This is a pretty important exam as well, if I don't pass I need to re-sit it.
Not that I'm under pressure or anything here *Rolls eyes* Sheesh, anyone would think it's the next ice age/doomsday/end of the world, the stress I'm under.
I'm sure the boyfriend will understand if I lose the plot for the next two weeks. He promised to help me revise anyway.
Meh.

Hi there,
*Shakes hand*
I'm Betsy Grape. Lovely to meet you, thanks for stopping by.

So I didn't introduce myself properly yesterday. Sorry, that was rather rude of me. I'm new to Vox, looking forward to making some new friends and acquaintances though. I live in a lovely rural town in England. I'm a very happy person and pleased with my station in life. I adore fashion, music and writing as I am a very creative person. I usually have something to say and can be outspoken - but at least people listen to me!
Today, some new clothes arrived in the mail :) I love retro clothing and I got this gorgeous shiny satin dress, with the cutest print. Big, 70s style flowers all over it <3 Beautiful. Also recieved a turquoise puffball which is very light, flouncy and made of chiffon. There is a blouse too, which I had snapped up quickly for £3 in the sale :D I love a good bargain! There is something rather lovely about new clothes, and I can't decide what. The excitement of opening the package? Imagining what social events you can wear them too? Or just the feel of the soft fabric on your skin, making you feel like a goddess?
I'm pretty chuffed.

Wow, I'm pysched to be here! My New Year's Resolution for 2009 was to start a blog so I can share my life with the world. It's been a bit of hassle getting this project up and running, but I'm gonna be in the swing of things soon.
Sorry, it's a bit disorganized at the moment - work in progress, I promise!
I'm a really individual (read: strange) person, but I've always thought that being unique and true to yourself is important.
One of the things that really made my 2008 was finally discovering who I was. Too long I had been hiding myself, trying to fit in with everyone else. I remember being so very shy in January, quite the wallflower. By December, life experience had changed me. I grew in confidence, and had to courage to be me! :) :)
2008 was planned to the letter, like a military operation, without much freedom. I'm hoping 2009 is much more spontaneous, unplanned. I want to just go with the flow! Can't wait to see what this year has in store for us. I'll be sure to lighten up and enjoy the ride more than I did last year. Taking everything too seriously is my biggest regret of 2008. Positive thinking for 2009!
Back tomorrow! Love, Betsy Grape xo
